chore: prepare the 3.8.7 release (#797)

Bumps src.__version__ to 3.8.7 and turns Unreleased into ## 3.8.7:
src.common.sports_view_model (#796, sports family 10), which the scoreboards
adopt by flooring on 3.8.7. src/common/README.md and
docs/SPORTS_UNIFICATION.md say 3.8.7 for the module.
